As I listened to our PodSnack on modulation, it struck me that there was a lot of language in that episode that might be confusing to a lay person. So I've decided to put together a few PodSnacks to unpack the concepts and examine them. Our starting place will be something called the sine wave, a very important concept in telecommunications. Pull up a chair and I'll see if I can make the arcane a bit less arcane.
