We missed sending out this
episode of tHAWT last week as we were all on the road, but we are sending this out early to ensure we have a Thanksgiving Day episode. To that end Mark and I got together over skype and touched on a few items that had caught our eye over the last week. The World Radiocommunications Conference had just ended, and first we discussed an interesting consensus that was reached regarding the 700 MHz spectrum, which just happens to be coming up for auction here in the United States. Other topics discussed were based on the links below.
World Radiocommunications Treaty
More commentary on the WRC
Different online support for those smart phones
Free Wall Street Journal?
AT&T jumping into Google's space, take that
Cookie Connections
Vuze making Net Neutrality claims against Comcast
Free HDTV with triple play from Verizon (no confirmation on this though)
