tHAWT Episode 37: AT&T The Merger (the last time -again)

In this episode, Paul, Peter and Dave discuss the AT&T BellSouth merger for the last time (or not). Immediately following the last episode the FCC voted on the merger and so we had to raise the topic again. Here the focus is on the potential for the new entity. The discussion includes a look at the role of wireless, for AT&T and others, the bundling of services (triple and quad plays). They also discuss who will be the third big carrier (rule of three). Will it be different in the consumer and SMB space to the larger enterprise space? The session ends with the speculation about the iPod phone which may, or may not, be announced at next week's Macworld.
