tHAWT Episode 35: Do We Need To Lawyer Up?

Well, it's almost the end of the year, so Adam, Andrew, Dave, Paul and Todd got together for a chat about what they consider the coolest technology happenings of 2006.  No thoughts were harmed and very few laws were broken during the recording session.

Next week we'll have an industry retrospective and a look ahead to 2007.

So we are using thawt as a dating mechanism for Todd now ;-)

My cool toy for 2006 was the navigation capability on my mobile, to me it is the perfect use for a mobile device that has constant access to a network. I expect that there are going to be many more mashed up applications coming from this. I know Mark wants to see zegat ratings for the local restaurants that it finds when you do a local search.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I've always used the intertubes to troll for babes...

To Trevor's point.  I also found the cool new thing for 2006 as the GPS capability on my new phone.  And he is right.  Traveling as much as we do, I would prefer more than just a listing of the restaurants in the area.  Tell me something about them.  Local reviews, Zagats, comments... anything other than where it is and what their phone number is.  This is especially important if one is looking for sushi.  Can't just go anywhere you know.
