Hi Dave and Todd,

FYI, the price for a cable subscriber is about $3000/subscriber. For example, Time Warner paid approximately 17 billion dollars for about 5 million Adelphia basic subscribers.

Dan (or anyone else):

Do you hve any insight on the cost per subscriber when building out a new cable network? I know it will vary based on archictecture (fiber usage, coax homes passed per segment etc.), but would appreciate an industry ballpark.

The cost being reported by Verizon to pass a home with FTTP is $1000 per home. This does not include the drop and installation, it is the infrastructure cost.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave and Todd,

Unfortunately, I don't have a real good answer from the standpoint of new cable network.
