Disaster planning once again is in the news.  This time on the front page of the USA Today.  This article was reporting on the July 26th release from the US Conference of Mayors on 183 cities' preparedness plans and capabilities.  Cities participating ranged from 30K to 8M residents.  The official press release is available from this link.  This is a sobering observation.  Full details of the report can be obtained from here.
