We discuss announcements made at the Yankee Group’s  wireless leadership decision summit including Cingular’s cautious approval of VoIP over 3G networks and the rollout of 3G to New York. Is voice free now? What about when devices have chips that have access to multiple wireless networks, as announced by Intel a while ago. Finally there is 4G, what is it? Does anybody really know?
